Monofilament
A single co-polyester strand. The modern control-and-spin string — firm, precise and durable, and what most competitive players use. It rewards a full swing and sits firmer on the arm than a multifilament.

Multifilament
Hundreds of fine fibres bundled together — the closest synthetic to natural gut. Soft, powerful and comfortable, the pick for touch players and anyone protecting their arm, in exchange for some control and durability.
