MSV
MSV (Mauve Sport) is a German poly specialist with a cult following among stringers. The six-sided Focus Hex family and the twisted Hepta Twist deliver serious spin and durability for very little money; Polynyking and Soft Control cover comfort.

Monofilament
A single co-polyester strand. The modern control-and-spin string — firm, precise and durable, and what most competitive players use. It rewards a full swing and sits firmer on the arm than a multifilament.

Multifilament
