Signum Pro Thunderstorm 12m Set

SIGNUM PRO THUNDERSTORM

Signum Pro Thunderstorm has a ten-sided profile wound in a spiral — a dense array of edges for relentless spin grip, on a firm co-polyester core tuned toward control. It comes in violet.

It is the most heavily shaped spin string in Signum Pro's range, with even more edges than Twister, and a control-first character.

On-Court Performance

The ten-sided spiral bites the ball relentlessly for the heaviest topspin in the range and a very sharp dip.

Control is strong; the firm core keeps the stringbed low once loaded with racquet-head speed.

The aggressive profile wears and loses tension faster than a round poly, so restrings come around quickly.

Who Should Use It

• Extreme-grip, heavy-topspin baseliners

• Advanced players who want maximum spin from a poly

• Western-forehand and big-kick-serve players

• Hybrid users wanting an ultra-spin poly main

• Players who found Twister still not grabby enough

Who Should Not Use It

• Players with any arm sensitivity

• Flat and all-court players who do not swing up steeply

• Players who need power and depth from the string

• Anyone who dislikes restringing often

Hybrid Setups & Performance Adjustments

Power
String low and pair with a multifilament or gut in the mains for depth.

Control
A full bed at mid tension is very controlled — the spin brings the ball down.

Spin
Keep Thunderstorm in the mains at mid-to-low tension for maximum grip.

Comfort
Firm — reserve a full bed for durable arms, or cross with a soft multi.

Tension Stability
Slides fast because of the profile — restring on a tight schedule.

Durability
Use a thicker gauge to slow the edge wear.
