YONEX POLY TOUR STRIKE

Yonex Poly Tour Strike is a firmer, faster Poly Tour built on a high-modulus core. It is round, crisp and low-powered, prioritising directional control and tension stability over feel or pop, and it plays a touch more aggressively than Poly Tour Pro. It comes in black and grey.

It sits between Poly Tour Pro and the shaped spin strings — more crispness and control than Pro, without the full spin focus of Spin or Rev.

On-Court Performance

At impact the response is crisper and more rigid than Poly Tour Pro. The stringbed feels firm and locked-down, with a very low, flat launch on flat and drive shots.

Control and precision are the priorities. Big hitters can accelerate through the ball with confidence that it will not sail long.

Spin is slightly higher than Poly Tour Pro but still modest — the round profile is not built to grab the ball aggressively.

Tension stability is excellent, which is why it is popular as a hybrid main or cross alongside softer strings. It is not a comfortable string and rewards a relaxed grip and sound technique.
