YONEX POLY TOUR SPIN

Yonex Poly Tour Spin is the dedicated spin string of the Poly Tour range — a hexagonal co-polyester with sharp edges that grip and rotate the ball aggressively. It is firm and grabby, yet still sits on the more manageable side of the polyester spectrum. It is offered in a single 1.25 mm gauge, in blue and black.

It is the most aggressive spin option in the Yonex line — more bite and a firmer feel than Poly Tour Rev.

On-Court Performance

The six sharp edges bite the ball hard on brushing contact. Topspin and heavy kick come easily, and the ball drops sharply inside the baseline on committed swings.

The feel is firm and direct. It is not a multifilament or gut, but Yonex kept it from being harsh, so most players tolerate a full bed without arm issues.

Control is strong for a spin-first string. The trajectory is predictable once you are used to the extra dip, and off-centre bite stays consistent.
