Yonex Poly Tour Air is the softest co-polyester Yonex makes — a low-density construction with a lab stiffness that borders on unbelievably low. It has received the highest comfort score ever given to a polyester string, yet keeps genuine control and playability duration. It comes in sky blue and a single 1.25 mm gauge.

It is the arm-friendly poly of the range and one of the best first polys available — a soft, playable string that still behaves like a control poly.

On-Court Performance

The feel is remarkably soft and low-density for a polyester. It absorbs shock well and is kind to the arm, which is unusual for a full poly.

Despite the softness, control does not collapse. Testers could take aggressive cuts and still find targets, with a predictable trajectory and no vague ballooning.

Playability duration holds up better than the low stiffness would suggest — it does not turn to spaghetti after a few hits the way some soft polys do.

Spin is moderate. The round profile does not grab like a shaped string, so this is a comfort-and-control string, not a spin tool.
