WILSON REVOLVE

Wilson Revolve is a round co-polyester built as an all-round poly rather than a spin specialist. A low-friction Crosslink Ester coating lets the mains slide and snap back, adding shape to the ball, while the round profile keeps the response smoother and more forgiving than a shaped poly. It comes in black, white and orange.

It is Wilson's balanced control poly — more comfortable and less demanding than Revolve Spin, and a sensible first co-polyester for a player leaving multifilament.

On-Court Performance

The stringbed is controlled and predictable with a moderate, penetrating trajectory — a classic co-poly response without the harshest edges.

The slick coating helps the strings snap back, so there is more spin than the round profile suggests, though less than Revolve Spin.

Power is low, as with any control poly; players without their own pace may find it demanding.

Tension drops at the normal co-poly rate — it plays best in the first few sessions.

• 4.0+ players with moderate swing speeds

Who Should Not Use It

• Players with arm sensitivity who need real comfort

• Maximum-spin grinders (choose Revolve Spin or Twist)

• Beginners and 3.0-level players

Hybrid Setups & Performance Adjustments

Power
String low, or pair with a multifilament or gut in the mains, for depth.

Control
A full bed at mid-to-high tension gives a controlled, penetrating flight.

Spin
Keep Revolve in the mains at mid tension so the coating can do its snap-back work.

Comfort
One of the more forgiving polys — drop 1–2 kg or cross with a soft string to make a full bed tolerable.

Tension Stability
Normal co-poly slide — restring every 15–20 hours.

Durability
Move to the 1.30 gauge, or the 1.35 in the reel, if you break the thinner gauge.
