Wilson Repel is a comfort multifilament with a twist: a hydrophobic coating that stops the fibres absorbing sweat and humidity. A multi's usual weakness is going soft and dead once it takes on moisture; Repel is built to keep its response consistent from the first game to the last.

It is a consistency-focused multifilament — the soft, powerful feel of a nylon multi with far less of the day-to-day drift that plagues the category, at a mid-range price.

On-Court Performance

The stringbed is soft and powerful in the multifilament tradition, with easy depth and a comfortable pocket.

The real benefit shows over a session and over weeks — the string stays closer to how it felt when fresh instead of turning mushy after a humid match.

Control is moderate; the trajectory sits fairly high, as with most comfort multis.

Durability is better than a bare multi but still short of a co-polyester — heavy spin will fray it eventually.
