TECNIFIBRE TRIAX

Tecnifibre Triax is a three-layer fusion string, roughly half polyester and half multifilament, injected with polyurethane resin to reduce shock and protect the fibres. Stiff polyester filaments and a firm, high-density PU resin, plus a slippery anti-abrasion coating, help it snap back and add control. It is offered in a single colour.

It is the most control-oriented and spin-friendly poly-fusion — the closest a comfortable string gets to a soft poly.

On-Court Performance

Testers rate it the most control-oriented and spin-friendly multifilament they have played — it comes close to a soft poly in feel while keeping multifilament comfort.

The 50/50 poly-multi blend is designed for hard-hitting players who normally use poly but want protection for the arm.

Comfort is excellent, in keeping with Tecnifibre's reputation, with the PU resin absorbing shock on clean and off-centre hits.

Spin earns a great score for a multifilament, though it is not as grippy as a dedicated shaped poly. Durability outlasts a standard multi thanks to the anti-abrasion surface.
