TECNIFIBRE RAZOR SPIN

Tecnifibre Razor Spin is a square-profile co-polyester built purely for spin. The four sharp edges grab the ball more aggressively than a multi-sided string, and a polyurethane additive keeps the impact softer than most four-sided polys. It is offered in a single colour.

It is the most spin-oriented member of the Razor family — grabbier than Razor Code, launchier and more aggressive than Razor Soft.

On-Court Performance

The square edges bite the ball hard on brushing contact, producing heavy topspin and sharp dip. The trajectory sits a little higher and more launchy than Razor Code as a result.

You get real bite and control without the unpredictability that four-sided profiles usually bring — the string still tracks where you aim it.

The polyurethane additive takes some of the sting out of the firm co-poly core, so a full bed is tolerable for most arms.

As an aggressively shaped poly the edges round off and the string loses tension, so budget for more frequent restrings than a round poly.
