TECNIFIBRE HDMX

Tecnifibre HDMX is a high-density poly-fusion string that blends multifilament feel with poly-like tension stability and precision. It is aimed at the comfort seeker or multifilament player who wants a little extra control, spin and durability. It is offered in a single colour.

It is the control-leaning poly-fusion — firmer and more precise than Duramix, still far more comfortable than a monofilament.

On-Court Performance

The high-density construction gives a crisper, more connected feel than a soft multifilament, with a lower and more repeatable trajectory.

Spin is above average for a non-poly, helped by the firmer surface and the anti-abrasion coating that lets the strings move and snap back.

Comfort is still strong — the polyamide content and PU keep shock and vibration low — but the feel is more defined than a plush comfort multi.

Above-average tension maintenance is a genuine bonus for a soft string, and durability outlasts a standard multifilament.

Who Should Use It

  • Multifilament players who want more control and spin

  • Comfort seekers who dislike a vague, powerful multi feel

  • Players with arm sensitivity who want a lower trajectory

  • All-court players who want a crisp, connected soft string

  • Players who found Duramix too plush or powerful

Who Should Not Use It

  • Advanced players who need a genuine poly low trajectory on full swings

  • Heavy topspin baseliners who rely on string bite

  • Players who want the plushest possible feel (choose Duramix)

  • Frequent, hard string breakers

Hybrid Setups & Performance Adjustments

Power
String toward the low end of the range, or pair with a poly in the crosses.

Control
Already the control fusion — string a full bed toward the upper range.

Spin
Put a shaped poly in the mains and HDMX in the crosses.

Comfort
Full bed at moderate tension; drop tension for more give.

Tension Stability
Better than most soft strings — string mid-range.

Durability
Better than a standard multi — hybrid with a poly main only if you still break it.
