Solinco Hyper-G Round is a smooth, round co-polyester monofilament designed to enhance directional control, court penetration and clean ball contact. Built with Solinco’s proprietary chemical formulation, it delivers a controlled yet slightly more explosive response compared to traditional control polys.

As the round sibling of Hyper-G, it offers a more linear trajectory and improved hybrid versatility while maintaining strong tension stability and durability.

On-Court Performance

Hyper-G Round is clearly control-dominant but feels slightly more fluid than many shaped control polys.

From the first rallies, the response is stable and predictable. The round profile promotes a more direct ball trajectory, making it easier to drive through the court with confidence. Compared to standard Hyper-G, spin is slightly reduced, but directional accuracy and linear penetration improve.

Despite being round, the low-friction surface supports effective snapback, allowing for solid spin production for a smooth poly. Full swings are rewarded with excellent stability and clean feedback, especially for offensive players who naturally generate pace.
