SOLINCO CONFIDENTIAL 200M REEL

SOLINCO CONFIDENTIAL

Solinco Confidential is a high-performance square-shaped co-polyester monofilament engineered for precision, spin and enhanced feel. Developed over several years in collaboration with ATP and WTA professionals, it delivers surgical control, strong ball bite and improved comfort compared to traditional firm control polys.

Positioned between Hyper-G and Tour Bite in the Solinco range, Confidential blends firm precision with slightly greater flexibility and playability.

On-Court Performance

Confidential is built for players who demand absolute control without sacrificing feel.

At impact, the response is crisp and highly predictable. The square profile grips the ball effectively, producing heavy topspin and tight trajectory control. Full swings are rewarded with exceptional directional accuracy and confidence under pressure.

Compared to Tour Bite, Confidential feels slightly more flexible and forgiving. Compared to Hyper-G, it offers a more direct and surgical response. The balance between firmness and comfort makes it one of the most versatile control polys in the Solinco lineup.

Power is controlled rather than explosive. Depth is available with proper acceleration, but this string is clearly designed for players who generate their own pace.

Tension maintenance is strong for a shaped co-poly, and durability is high, making it suitable for heavy hitters.

Who Should Use It

• Competitive players seeking maximum control

• Aggressive baseliners

• Players who swing fast and hit heavy topspin

• Players who want Tour Bite precision with slightly more comfort

• Advanced players who value feel and feedback

Who Should Not Use It

• Beginners or players with compact strokes

• Players looking for easy depth without effort

• Players prioritizing maximum comfort

• Flat hitters who prefer a softer, livelier response

Confidential rewards committed swings and precise technique.

Hybrid Setups & Performance Adjustments

Power
For easier depth, use Confidential in the crosses with natural gut or a lively multifilament in the mains.

Control
For maximum precision, string as a full bed toward the higher end of the recommended tension range.

Spin
For optimal spin, use Confidential in the mains to maximize bite and snapback.

Comfort
Pair with a softer poly or multifilament in the crosses and lower tension slightly.

Tension Stability
Stay within mid-range tension; extreme low setups may reduce long-term control.

Durability
Use in a full bed for heavy hitters or consider a thicker gauge if breakage is frequent.
