Prince Premier Control 12m Set

PRINCE PREMIER CONTROL

Prince Premier Control is the brand's premium comfort multifilament, tuned toward precision. It damps vibration well and keeps a firmer, more connected feel than most multis, so players get the arm relief without the mushy, uncontrolled response. It comes in natural and black.

It is the control-oriented member of Prince's Premier multifilament line, sitting opposite the power-focused Premier LT.

On-Court Performance

The stringbed is soft and low-vibration, but noticeably more controlled than a typical multi — a lower launch and a more connected feel.

Comfort is high, making it a genuine option for players with elbow or shoulder issues who still want to place the ball.

Durability is the usual multifilament weakness — it frays and softens over a few weeks.

Who Should Use It

• Players with arm sensitivity who also want control

• Control players who cannot tolerate poly

• Flat, placement-based hitters and one-handers

• Hybrid users wanting a controlled multi component

• Advancing players bridging from multi toward poly

Who Should Not Use It

• Players who want the explosive power multis are known for (choose Premier LT)

• Heavy topspin players who need bite

• Frequent string-breakers

• Players who want true poly-level control

Hybrid Setups & Performance Adjustments

Power
String toward the upper window, or cross with a firm poly, if depth runs long.

Control
A full bed already plays controlled; raise tension slightly for an even lower launch.

Spin
Pair with a shaped poly in the mains for bite; Premier Control brings precision and comfort.

Comfort
A full bed at low-to-mid tension is soft and arm-friendly.

Tension Stability
Good for a multi but it still fades — restring monthly.

Durability
Use the 1.35 gauge, or hybrid with a poly, if you fray it quickly.
