KIRSCHBAUM MAX POWER

Despite the name, Kirschbaum Max Power is a firm, control-first co-polyester built for durability and precision. It is low-powered, holds its tension well and resists notching, making it a workhorse for players who supply their own pace and want a string that lasts. It comes in grey and white, with a textured Rough version.

It is the control-and-durability end of Kirschbaum's range — firmer and longer-lasting than the Pro Line polys, and a plain round profile rather than a spin shape.

On-Court Performance

The stringbed is firm and low-powered, giving a very predictable, controlled response for players with their own power.

Durability is a strength — the dense co-poly resists sawing and notching, so string-breakers get more hours per set.

Tension maintenance is among the better co-polys in this range, so the string stays consistent longer.

The firm feel is demanding on the arm at high tension; most players string it a little lower or hybrid it.

String low, or pair with a multifilament or gut in the mains, since it adds nothing to depth.

A full bed at mid-to-high tension gives a very low, controlled flight.

Choose the Rough version, or keep a shaped poly in the mains, for bite.

Comfort
One of the stiffer options here — drop 1–2 kg or put a soft cross in for a full bed.

Tension Stability
