KIRSCHBAUM HELIX

Kirschbaum Helix is a spin string with a spiral, twisted profile — instead of fixed edges, the surface winds along the string's length so there is always an edge presenting to the ball. On a firm co-polyester core, it pairs consistent spin grip with the control and durability of a stiffer poly. It comes in white.

It is the twisted-profile alternative to Black Shark — a different route to spin, with a slightly smoother, more continuous grip and a touch more forgiveness in the pocket.

On-Court Performance

The spiral surface produces consistent topspin grip from any contact angle, with a dipping trajectory and good shot shape.

Control is solid; the firm core keeps the stringbed low and predictable once loaded with racquet-head speed.

Power is low and the feel is firm, in line with the other shaped Kirschbaum polys — it needs a fast, brushing swing.

As with any shaped poly, the profile wears and tension slides, so restrings come around sooner than with a round string.
