HEAD Synthetic Gut PPS is a durable synthetic gut built around a PowerStrip Technology core — a Polyphenylene Sulfide strip that adds resilience and elasticity for extra pop. A pearl polyamide coating reduces notching and burning, giving it better durability than most synthetic guts. It comes in white.

It is a dependable, low-cost all-rounder and a common hybrid partner — firmer and more durable than a basic synthetic gut, cheaper and livelier than a premium multifilament.

On-Court Performance

The PPS strip adds a springy, resilient quality, so depth and pace come easily for the price. The feel is crisp rather than plush.
