HEAD SONIC PRO EDGE

HEAD Sonic Pro Edge is the shaped version of Sonic Pro — a five-sided co-polymer monofilament built from a blend of resins and fibres. The sharp edges add real ball bite and spin over the round original, while keeping the comfortable, slightly lively feel that made Sonic Pro popular. It comes in black.

It bridges HEAD's accessible and performance polys: more spin and pop than Sonic Pro, but friendlier and livelier than Lynx Tour or Hawk.

On-Court Performance

The five edges grip the ball effectively, giving easy access to topspin and letting you swing up on the ball with confidence. Off committed strokes the ball drops sharply and kicks off the bounce.

For a firm monofilament it is notably lively. There is more pop than most control polys, so depth is easy to find without over-swinging.

Control stays strong despite the added liveliness. The response is crisp and predictable, and off-centre hits remain stable.

Comfort is above average for a shaped poly, though it is still firmer than any multifilament and rewards a relaxed grip.
