HEAD RIP Control is a control-oriented multifilament built with HEAD's Ribbon Improvement Process: textured nylon and polyolefin ribbons wrapped around a polyamide core. The ribbon structure gives a firmer, more precise response than a typical multifilament, plus a textured surface that grips the ball for above-average spin. It comes in black, white, natural and orange.

It is the firmest, most control-focused multifilament HEAD makes — for players who want to leave poly behind without losing precision.

On-Court Performance

Control is the standout. The response is stable and predictable, and you can swing confidently without the ball ballooning long, which is unusual for a soft string.

Spin is above average for a multifilament. The textured ribbon surface grabs the ball and helps you shape shots more than a smooth multi would.
