HEAD REFLEX MLT

HEAD Reflex MLT is one of HEAD's most comfortable multifilaments — 1,300 fine fibres bonded with a flexible polyurethane resin for a soft, forgiving response and a generous sweetspot. It is a natural-gut-style feel at a fraction of the price, offered in natural.

It is HEAD's comfort-and-power multifilament, softer and more forgiving than the control-leaning Velocity MLT and RIP Control.

On-Court Performance

Comfort is the defining feature. Shock on off-centre hits is minimal, even in a stiff racquet or dense pattern, and the string is very kind to the arm.

For all its elasticity it does not play uncontrollably powerful. Depth comes easily, but you can tune tension to lean the string toward power or toward control.

Spin is the weak point. The slick, low-friction surface helps a little, but a multifilament will not grab and rotate the ball like a poly.

Durability is average for a soft multi — fine for touch and all-court players, short-lived for heavy poly-style hitters.
