HEAD HAWK TOUCH

HEAD Hawk Touch is the softer, more arm-friendly member of the Hawk family. A co-extruded construction wraps a more elastic layer around the control core, producing a plusher, more muted response and better ball pocketing while keeping Hawk's control-first character. It comes in anthracite, black, red, gold and tequila sunrise.

It sits between the firm original Hawk and the softer, spin-shaped Lynx Touch — for players who want Hawk control with less stiffness.

On-Court Performance

At impact the feel is soft and dampened for a poly. Vibration is well controlled, off-centre hits sting less, and the ball sits in the stringbed longer before it releases.

Despite the softer feel, control stays strong. The trajectory is predictable and the response repeatable, so you can still swing with intent and trust the ball to land.

Power is a little higher than the original Hawk thanks to the extra pocketing, but this is still a control string, not a power one.

Spin is modest — the round profile does not grab like a shaped string — so choose Hawk Touch Rough or a shaped poly if bite is the priority. Tension loss is typical for a soft poly.
