Dunlop Explosive Spin is a semi-rigid co-polyester tuned for maximum spin, power and comfort — a string that feels shaped in play while staying more arm-friendly than the hard-edged Explosive Bite. It comes in black and yellow.

It sits between Explosive and Explosive Bite — more spin and pop than the standard Explosive, more comfort than the triangular Bite.

On-Court Performance

The stringbed grips the ball well for topspin, with a livelier pocket than Explosive Bite.

There is a reasonable power reserve, so it does not feel dead on slower swings.

Control is moderate; string it toward the low end and restring on a schedule.
