DUNLOP EXPLOSIVE BITE

Dunlop Explosive Bite is a three-sided, triangular co-polyester built for spin — sharp edges that grab the ball on an ATP-tour-spec core, kept a touch more comfortable than most shaped polys. It comes in black and yellow.

It is the spin string in Dunlop's Explosive family — grabbier than Explosive or Explosive Spin, with the firmest, most control-oriented profile of the three.

On-Court Performance

The triangular edges bite the ball hard for heavy topspin and a sharp downward dip.

Control is very good once you load the string with racquet-head speed, with a low trajectory.

Power is low and the feel is firm; the edges round off over time, so restrings come around sooner.
