Dunlop Black Widow is a rigid, seven-sided co-polyester — a heptagonal profile that bites the ball for spin on a firm, control-oriented core. It is a long-running Dunlop spin string. It comes in black.

It is Dunlop's classic shaped spin poly, similar in intent to Explosive Bite but with more edges and an older, more rigid feel.

On-Court Performance

The seven edges grip the ball for heavy topspin and a low, dipping trajectory.

Control is very good once loaded with racquet-head speed; the feel is firm and connected.

Power is low and comfort is limited; the profile wears and tension slides, so restrings come around sooner.
