TEST OF THE YONEX PERCEPT 100 300G RACKET

During our test, we appreciated the combination of control and forgiveness that the Percept 100 300g offered. With its 645 cm² headsize coupled with an isometric head, improved forgiveness is immediately noticeable, allowing for off-center hits without severe consequences.

The sensation on impact is very satisfying as this racket provides more flexibility while maintaining responsiveness. This Percept shines in finesse play and at the net, where delicate drop shots can be easily executed.

Although it leans towards control and requires proper technique to fully exploit, the Percept 100 300g still offers a respectable power reserve. It's easier to play with than its larger sibling, the Percept 97.

The spin potential remains standard; it doesn't reach the spin levels of a Yonex Vcore, for instance.

When serving, we appreciated the compromise between precision and generated power from the frame.

Overall, it's a highly enjoyable racket to play with, forgiving off-center hits, but it truly stands out in terms of feel. The sensations are excellent and boost confidence in each strike. However, a good arm speed is necessary to fully exploit this racket.
