The Wilson Ultra 100L V4 racket still offers plenty of power, but its core has been reworked for greater feel and control. Although the Ultra range is still dominated by power, this 4th version aims to offer more feel and control. The Ultra 100L V4 is no exception to this transformation, and now incorporates Wilson 's flagship Fortyfive technology, which gives the racket greater stability and improved touch on every shot.

The test was carried out with the Luxilon Element 130 at 23/22.

In forehand and backhand range, maneuverability is very good! We were able to generate power and find length very easily. We immediately feel better control and feel for the ball than with the old version.

Its 16/19 string pattern and 645cm² headsize allow us to create spin easily, even if it's not a spin machine. We also noticed a more homogeneous feel when we off-center the ball.

It's on flat and slightly covered shots that this Ultra 100L expresses itself wonderfully, offering an excellent ratio of power to ball feel.

In conclusion, this is a very versatile frame offering a very good compromise between power, stability, forgiveness and feel.

FOR WHICH PLAYERS WOULD YOU RECOMMEND THIS RACKET?

We recommend this racket to 4th series and early 3rd series players looking for easy power, maneuverability and playability. There's no doubt that this racket will satisfy you in these areas.

Beware, however, for pure lifters, who should go for the Burn range.
