The 100 (645 cm²) string bed offers superior forgiveness compared to the 97 version and provides more versatility. One of the major changes of this racquet is its string pattern. The 16x19 of the 100 model has been replaced by an 18x19, designed to give more consistency to the strike and more control. The 23 mm racquet profile also contributes to stability and power. The Percept series includes the ServoFilter, a resin integrated into the graphite of the racquet, which offers more flexibility and vibration absorption.

TEST OF THE YONEX PERCEPT 100D 305G RACKET

During our test, we were impressed by the balance between control and forgiveness offered by this Percept 100D 305 g. Thanks to its 645 cm² string bed and an isometric head, one immediately feels a good forgiveness.

The feel during the strike is very pleasant, as the racquet offers more flexibility while being reactive enough. This Percept excels in precision, but also at the net where it is easier to find the zones.

Although it is mainly focused on control and good technique is necessary to fully exploit it, this Percept 100 D 305g nevertheless offers an excellent feeling of consistency on the strike. It is more forgiving than its big sister, the Percept 97.

The spin remains classic, it does not have the spin of a Yonex Vcore, for example.

On serve, we appreciated the precision generated by the frame.

In conclusion, we have a very pleasant racquet to play with, as it provides excellent feelings on the strike. But it is especially at the touch level that the racquet stands out. Indeed, the feelings are excellent and gave us more confidence in each of our shots. However, good arm speed will be necessary to fully exploit the racquet.
