With Daniil Medvedev's exceptional start to the year, we were eager to test this string. It was a pleasant surprise, as we felt the DNA of the Razor Code while benefiting from much more power. We noticed an increase in ball length and a noticeable gain in comfort. The sensations on impact are soft for increased playability.

At the back of the court and on fast-paced strikes, the Tecnifibre Razor Soft string responds wonderfully. The sensations are good, even on off-center hits (which we could criticize the Razor Code for), this soft version corrects this flaw. In addition to excellent tolerance, the spin potential is above average for a smooth string. Where we gained was in ball touch and in the short game, because the string responds better and we were able to easily execute drop shots. It is also at the net that we gained in ball touch and found zones more easily. After several hours of play, the string maintains a consistent behavior without drastic loss of sensation.
