String Tecnifibre HDMX

Thanks to its new Hybrid 3D technology, Tecnifibre HDMX is a 3-in-1 string!

What's Tecnifibre hiding behind this technology? The string's core is made up of polyester strands for greater control and resistance + polyamide fibers (for power, the material used for multifilaments) and covered with a layer of PU for greater comfort.

Enjoy the benefits of different types of string in a single set!

Our test of the Tecnifibre HDMX string:

During the first few hours of play, we liked the control this string provided while delivering the necessary power. We were expecting more flexibility, but when we hit the ball hard, we certainly appreciated the extra control.

Power is not outdone either, and the string provides plenty of pep when you let go of your strokes.

The icing on the cake is the very good comfort, making it a strong point for players looking for the best compromise between resistance, control and comfort.

If the tolerance is below that of traditional multis, the difference is really minimal. The gain in durability, on the other hand, is truly impressive. It's on the order of 30 to 40% compared with a conventional multifilament.

Who should use it?

We recommend Tecnifibre HDMX string to players who play with monofilament and want to switch to a more comfortable string without sacrificing the feel of mono. It's also perfect for young players who break multis too quickly and whose parents want greater durability! In this situation, you'll have the most comfortable and durable string on the market today.

For what type of game?

It can be used for all types of play, as this string is fairly versatile. Even if you don't hit the ball hard enough, this string is still pretty responsive! And conversely, if you hit the ball hard enough, you'll still have control.

Where does the Tecnifibre HDMX string fit in the Tecnifibre range?

We'd still classify it in the multifilament range, and so it's the one that offers the most control and resistance.
